Cream Scones¶

Grade 4 Teacher (1959 - 1985)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp sugar

½ tsp salt

4 Tbsp butter
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- ½ cup cream
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly butter a cookie sheet. Mix dry ingredients together. Work in butter with a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add beaten eggs with cream. Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead for a minute. Roll out about ¾ inch thick and cut out. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
