Almond Crescents

  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups butter, softened

  • 1 cup icing sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup ground almonds

Stir together flour and salt. Cream butter. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, a little at a time. Add almonds last. Form into 1 inch balls. Shape into crescents. Bake at 325°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar while still warm.
