Boiled Raisin Cake

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 box raisins
  • 2 cups sugar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tsp cloves
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 ½ cups flour

Boil the first 6 ingredients together for 2 minutes. Let cool to room temperature. Add baking soda and flour and blend well. Spray a bundt or tube pan with Pam. Pour batter in and bake at 275°F for 1 ½ hours. Let sit for 15 minutes before removing from pan.
