Chocolate Cheesecake

  • 1 ⅓ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cup butter or margarine
  • 3 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ⅓ cup sugar

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup sugar

Melt butter. Add crumbs. Press into a springform pan. Melt chocolate with ¼ cup sugar in microwave or over hot water. Stir well. Set aside to cool. In food processor or with electric mixer, beat cream cheese and ⅓ cup sugar until smooth and creamy. Add sour cream and beat until well mixed. Beat in eggs. Add cooled chocolate mixture. Pour into crust. Bake at 275°F for 50 to 60 minutes, or until set.
