Chocolate Cream Cheesecake¶

Whipping cream
Crust:
- ⅓ cup butter
- 1 ½ cups Oreo baking crumbs
- ¼ cup sugar
Filling:
- 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 cup creamed cottage cheese
- 1 pkg cream cheese, softened and cubed
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
Crust: Melt butter. Stir in crumbs and sugar. Press onto bottom and side of a 9 inch pie plate, springform or flan pan. Bake at 325° F for 5 minutes. Cool.
Filling: Melt chocolate over hot water. Cool slightly. Process cottage cheese in food processor or mixer until smooth. Add cream cheese and blend well. Mix in melted chocolate, sugar and vanilla. Blend in eggs until smooth. Pour into pan. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes, or until set. Cool. Whip the whipping cream and pile on top. Serves 10 to 12.
