Cream Cheese Brownies¶

- 1 pkg fudge brownie mix
- 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp margarine or butter

1 Tbsp cornstarch

14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread into a well greased 13×9 inch baking pan. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, margarine and cornstarch until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened milk, egg and vanilla until smooth. Pour evenly over brownie mixture. Bake for 45 minutes, or until top is lightly browned. Cool. Spread with frosting. Cut into bars. Store in a covered container in refrigerator.
