Mushroom Steak

  • 1 ½ lb round steak
  • 1 ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 can mushrooms, drained, reserve liquid

  • ¾ Tbsp garlic powder
  • ¼ cup sherry

Cut steak into strips. Brown in oil. Add onions and sauté until tender. Blend soup, sherry, mushroom liquid and garlic powder. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over steak. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 1 hour. Serve over rice.
