Fast dinner children love

  • 400 g macaroni
  • 750 mL jar pasta sauce
  • 1 ½ cups grated cheese and/or mozzarella cheese

  • Fried mushrooms, optional

  • Chopped onion, optional
  • Green pepper, optional

Cook macaroni in large open kettle of boiling water until al dente, approximately 20 minutes. Drain in a colander. Pour into a large warm casserole with ½ of the cheese and all the pasta sauce. Stir well. Add mushrooms, onion or green pepper, if desired and stir. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Place under broiler and broil until golden and bubbly. Serve with crusty bread and tossed green salad. Serves 4 to 5 people.
