Sweet and Sour Mushroom Steak¶

- 2 lb round steak, cut into small pieces
- 3 tsp oil
- 3 tsp flour
- 2 cups cold water
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp soya sauce

½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp vinegar
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup green pepper, cut up
- 1 can mushrooms
Fry steak in oil until browned. Mix flour, water, ketchup, soya sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, vinegar and sugar in a container. Shake well. Add to steak and bring to a boil. Add onion and simmer until meat is tender. Add green pepper and mushrooms and simmer for another 15 to 20 minutes. Serve over rice.
