Spinach Salad

Salad:

  • 1 pkg spinach
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 1 can water chestnuts, optional
  • ⅓ Ib bacon
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs

Dressing:

  • ½ cup salad oil
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Salad: Rinse and dry spinach. Rinse bean sprouts and water chestnuts in cold water. Drain. Fry or microwave bacon until crisp. Crumble. Slice hard-boiled eggs. Place all ingredients in salad bowl.

Dressing: Mix all ingredients in a bottle. Shake to mix. Pour dressing over salad. Toss lightly. Serve immediately.
